My Story
I am passionate for spending time in nature. Being in nature revitalizes my body and helps me often shift perspectives and gain distance from problems and challenges. I love to hike in the mountains, swim in rivers, and play in the waves of the ocean. I love to hop in the ocean in the early morning and start my day chanting out loud where no one can hear me but God and the restless sea.
I spent every summer as a child at the ocean beach or swimming in Lake Waban, at Wellesley College. I spent all of my teen years on a horse. I rode on trails, jumped hay bales and stone walls, rode in ponds, in equestrian events, bareback, clandestinely on the golf course. I loved to gallop through the woods in the snow.
In my young adult years, I explored the crags and cliffs of the United States and Europe with a boyfriend going from Yosemite to the Verdon Gorge in Southern, France and all over. I loved the long hours of alone silence sitting on the edge of a cliff belaying my partner or climbing pitch after pitch of a longer route. I parleyed my climbing experience into an outdoor career managing a ropes course at a transformational growth program.
When I was 34, I had a strange skin tumor grow on my arm. It was removed and was a skin cancer precursor but I was left with an indelible fear of getting skin cancer from the sun from this experience. Part of what I concluded was that my years in the sun - which was my whole life to date - were damaging and I needed to stay out of the sun. I curtailed my outdoor activities. I instilled fear of the sun into my young daughters. I wore SPF 50 when I went out hiking and always used an umbrella on the beach.
For the next 20 plus years I experienced a range of cronic illness that came and went from migraines, fibromyalgia to Lyme disease. During this time I was raising my daughters in a non-traditional way, I had a career in small business consulting for 16 years helping small businesses build exceptional teams and achieve breakthrough profitability levels., Later I ran a roofing company, and all along I followed a serious spiritual path with intensive meditation and volonteer work. Sometimes I was of good health, and sometimes I lived with persistent, debilitating pain.
I have learned important keys for healing especially in the last 8 years after testing positive for Lyme disease and going down the Lyme treatment path / rabbit hole for a number of years.
Staying steady with my spritual work was a massive key. I never gave up on myself in this area. I am forever in debt to my spiritual master Kalindi, for her freeing guidance and sustaning love.
Taking responsibility for my body and healing was a huge key. It had me seek answers outside of the box of my belief system and current medical paradigm. It led me in 2017, to Dr. Jack Kruse, neurosurgeon and health educator who teaches the power of light, water and magnetism on health. It led me back to the healing power of the sun and nature.
I began to understand that my body was not broken. The environment I lived in was toxic, filled with non-native emf frequencies that my body was not tolerating very well and the environment I lived in was for the most part without sunlight and disconnected from the earth. I believe the lack of sunlight combined with emf exposures were at the root of many of my health issues. Taking responsibility for my body and healing Ied me back to the sun, it led me to 3 winters in the Yucatan peninsula of Mexico, into the highly magnetic and healing cenotes, into my own world of bio-hacks, into the ocean, into the cold rivers, into a new experience of my body and a sense of aliveness. It led to me my own discovery of the power of the exhiliratng combination of the sun and cold water to heal. I found greater levels of energy and well-being. I learned the art and science of safe sun exposure. I found a way to navigate through the medical and alternative medical systems where I for the first time I was not completely confused but with deeper knowledge and my own direct experiences able to get what I need from doctors of all types.
I feel more vitality now than I experienced in my forties.
I have combined sun, earth and water centric healing practices with my daily spiritual practices out of the desire to use the minutes of my day to advance my consciousness and connection within. My programs are drawn from my personal experiences and practices.
I don’t worship the sun. But, I am grateful for the suns healing rays. I amazed to learn new information every day about the sun’s power to heal.
We are designed to receive the sun.
